ADHD evaluations are designed to help us figure out what’s actually going on beneath the overwhelm, frustration, and mental chaos, so you can stop guessing and start understanding your brain a little better.
So... How Does This Work?
To keep it real, the ADHD eval process is not the most ADHD-friendly experience, however, as an ADHDer myself, I do my best to make the process as seamless as possible.
Here's how it works:
Step 1: Reach out to me (Brittany) by sending an inquiry about wanting to be evaluated
Step 2: We chat & get you scheduled
Step 3: You fill out initial intake documents electronically BEFORE the eval so I can get a peak at what's goin' on
Step 4: We meet (either in-person or virtually) for a 3-hour clinical interview
Step 5: If applicable, I will reach out to someone close to you (with your consent, of course) to gather more information
Step 6: I'll go through the diagnostics to rule ADHD in or out + write a multi-page report for you to keep (2 hours of work)
Step 7: We meet again for a 1-hour session to review the eval results. If ADHD is present, I'll go through the neuroscience behind ADHD, treatment/management options, etc. If ADHD isn't present, we'll review why I think that + alternatives
In total, it's about 6 hours of work!
My standard rate is $150/hour (6 hours x $150 = $900).
I charge in increments. Each time a step is complete, the card you put on file will be charged.
At this time, I'm unable to take insurance for ADHD evaluations.
