Perhaps you have to have it together at all times. Maybe you're seen as the reliable one; the strong one. Would everything fall apart if you stopped carrying the heavy load? If the answer is a resounding "yes", I may be the therapist for you.

As a school counselor, I strive to create a space that's both safe and warm as well as one we can let loose in sometimes. I don’t ever expect you to be prim and proper, and I sure as hell don’t expect you to be composed at all times. Because there's only so much one person can carry, we'll carry that shit together. And in here, we're not afraid to cope with a little humor and sarcasm!

Resilience was never supposed to be your permanent way of living.

As a first generation daughter of an immigrant mother, I am passionate about helping diverse communities and breaking down the cultural expectations that might make therapy difficult.

Culture plays an integrative role with not only seeking assistance, but in every dynamic under the sun. Coming forward and actually seeking help?? There were SO many steps to take, concerns to mull over, and doubtful thoughts to overcome that had to happen before you even got here.

I hope to use my person-centered approach with an emphasis on motivational interviewing to be alongside you during this process.

Whether it’s life transitions, relationships, boundaries, or traumatic experiences, we will work together to see what fits best for you. Humans are not one size fits all, just like trying (attempting, more like--I can already picture myself sweating pulling on that pant leg) to find the best pair of jeans.
