How many times has your child’s school mentioned your child would benefit from mental health services?
I believe every child deserves a safe space where they feel heard, supported, and accepted exactly as they are. With over 10 years of experience as a school counselor, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children and families through a variety of emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. Children and families often describe me as calm, patient, and easy to talk to, and I strive to create a warm, nurturing, and nonjudgmental environment where children feel comfortable being themselves, no matter who they are.
Everyone expects you to have all the answers, but parenthood didn't come with a manual.
How I can help:
My goal is to help children build confidence, express emotions in healthy ways, and navigate life’s challenges with support and encouragement along the way. I also understand that virtual therapy can feel unfamiliar at first, especially for children, which is why I incorporate interactive activities, creative tools, and engaging techniques to help sessions feel personal, connected, and fun, almost like we’re together in the same room.
If you or your child may not be ready for long term services, I offer specific, short term therapy packages depending on what your child needs most. Does your child complain of stomach aches, trouble sleeping, or being separated from you? Have you noticed that they worry a lot? The anxiety package targets the root issues driving these behaviors.
Other specific packages focus on topics such as depression, trauma, processing issues (school/friends, divorce, death, etc.), and emotional regulation. While services are provided through telehealth only, I strive to make every child feel safe, supported, and heard. Related to each of those is the Relationship Issues package:
